There are few flash games that are as well thought out as this.
This single game combines element of strategy, problem solving, reflexes, and action to create a challenging and addicting style of gameplay. Also, your levels are saved so you can come back to it anytime.

This game had me hooked, and I couldn't stop till I finally beat it. I have to admit, this is the first flash game where I was enticed to finish all teh way through. In fact, I postponed my own flash projects in order to beat this game.

This game is bugfree (something that can't be said for many of the games out there) and very well executed. The control of difficulty was excellent (although some later levels were a little easier than the ones before) but the difference is minute.

I just wished there were more than 30 levels =)

Good job, and I hope there is a sequel.

"Pretty good, but needs some work."

For your very first game in flash, I am very impressed. I don't even want to mension my first game...

The good points:
*The hit tests were surprisingly good. During the trip down the river, I was just expecting to lose due to crappy hitTests. I don't know if you used hitTest with bounding boxes or not, but you made it fair enough.
*The game play was well thought out. Getting each item and using them to solve problems. I also like the boss and the minigame you threw in there. Changes the pace a little bit. And since Ive never played Zelda before, I don't really know what everyone else is talking about. But even if I did, it still should not bring down your rating as it is an excellent game. There are tons of tributes/rips out there that have gotten great reviews.
*The control style was also well thought up. I really liked how you kept everything to the keyboard. This is something that game developers need to take care of more often. If a game utilizes the mouse, then the navigation can include the mouse. However, if a game is keyboard controlled, so should the navigation (and the inventory). This way, the players does not need to change back and forth.

Things that need work:
*Definately speed up the character. Or at least add a run feature. As others have said, it was a little frustrating to have to walk back and forth at such a slow pace.

Not much else to say. I liked the preview of the sequel, and am looking forward to playing it. Good luck with it.

"Very sweet"

The animations were very solid. The characters were not all that complicated, but they looked awesome. I really like your style. The fighting was cool, but some parts are corny, such as when he blocks bullets with his sword, but it doesn't hurt the movie any. I find it kinda weird that they were fighting with swords and stuff, but they also had like machine guns. Humor gets a 5 because of that hippy guy, totally unexpected.
Very good job overall. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

"Not too good"

The graphics were awesome!
But it just goes downhill from there.
The story is pretty interesting, but the gameplay was pretty bad.
Press space bar, click button, repeat.
The only part that was a bit of fun was pissing on , i mean in, the toilet.
You have great artistic skill, and I am sure that you can come up with a much better game that what you have here.

"Good game"

I can't believe people think this is hard. Just read the tips and you can beat it with no effort. I beat it on my first try.
I hate the minigun because it took forever to load up, but I never even used it until i got the ammo cheat mode. The shotgun is the only way to go. Once you get the shotgun, this game is cake. Just walk back and forth to find extra shells.
Anyways, awesome concept (I love cheetos) and interesting game. There is no way this is the worst game on newgrounds.

"Simply Amazing"

Throughout the movie, I forgot that this was a flash movie. I felt like I was watching an anime show on the TV or soemthing. The animations are smooth, graphics are excellent, flawless sound and voice quality, and quite funny. This is an incredible flash. =)

Fun game, but gets boring after a few minutes. I think its too easy, all you do is rapidly tap D for right jab, then hold space, then repeat (sounds like shampoo bottle directions).
I love the graphics and sound though.

Graphics: Amazing. The animations are very smooth the effects were just sweet.
Game Play: Nice, but as others have said, too many things to think about. Maybe only have 3 or 2 keys, and you can do combos (more possibilites that way). The opponent also moves way too fast to keep up.
I really liked all of the options, and how you can unlock secrets.
Great job man.
